About ERP & CRM Implementation
ERP and CRM programmes rarely fail technically. The software gets configured, the data gets migrated, the go-live happens — and then adoption stalls because the system asks people for information they do not have at the moment it asks, because it takes eleven clicks to do what used to take two, or because nobody reconciled the fact that two departments define a customer differently. The failure is organisational, and it was visible during design if anyone had been looking.
We approach these as process programmes with a software component. Discovery maps how work actually flows today, including the workarounds, because the workarounds encode the real requirements. We then design the target process before configuring anything, and we push hard against customisation: every custom object or bespoke workflow is a permanent upgrade tax, so it must earn its place against a documented business reason rather than a preference for the old way.
Data migration is planned as a stream in its own right, because it is where these programmes slip. Cleansing rules and deduplication policy, field mapping with owner sign-off, a reconciliation report proving that what arrived matches what left, and at least two full rehearsals before the real thing. Integration is the other major stream — connecting the ERP or CRM to your commerce platform, warehouse, finance systems, marketing automation and data warehouse with idempotent, monitored, replayable syncs.
Adoption is designed rather than hoped for. Role-specific training rather than a single all-hands session, champions embedded in each function, in-app guidance for the flows people use rarely, and post-launch usage measurement so you find out which teams are quietly still using the spreadsheet. We stay through the first close or the first full sales cycle, because that is when the real issues surface.
Why it matters
What you get
Process design before configuration
We map how work actually happens, including the workarounds, and design the target process before touching the system.
Customisation held to account
Every bespoke object or workflow is a permanent upgrade cost, so each one must justify itself against a documented business reason.
Migration that reconciles
Cleansing rules, owner-signed field mapping, two full rehearsals and a reconciliation report proving nothing was lost in transit.
Integrated with the rest of the estate
Idempotent, monitored, replayable syncs to commerce, warehouse, finance, marketing and analytics so the ERP is not an island.
Adoption measured, not assumed
Role-specific training, embedded champions, in-app guidance and post-launch usage data that shows who is really using it.
