About iOS App Development
iOS users notice craft. They notice when a scroll stutters, when a transition fights the system animation curve, when a sheet does not respect the safe area, when Dynamic Type breaks the layout at accessibility sizes. Native iOS development is worth paying for precisely because those details are not cosmetic — they are the difference between an app people keep and an app they delete after the second session.
We build in Swift with SwiftUI as the default and UIKit where it is still the stronger tool, following Apple's Human Interface Guidelines rather than porting a web layout onto a phone. That means proper navigation semantics, system-standard gestures, haptics used sparingly and meaningfully, full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type from extra-small through the accessibility sizes, and dark mode that was designed rather than inverted. Where the product benefits, we reach for the platform capabilities that only native can offer: widgets, App Intents and Siri, Live Activities, App Clips, HealthKit, Core ML on-device inference, and background processing that survives the scheduler.
Shipping is its own discipline. We handle provisioning and code signing properly, run TestFlight distribution with structured beta cohorts, and know the review guidelines well enough to avoid the rejections that cost teams a week each — subscription disclosure, account deletion requirements, privacy manifest declarations, third-party SDK disclosures. Every release goes out with crash reporting, performance monitoring and staged rollout so a bad build reaches a fraction of users, not all of them.
After launch we run the app as a product: crash-free session rate as a tracked SLO, cold start and frame timing budgets, App Store rating monitoring, and a maintenance cadence that keeps pace with each September's OS release rather than scrambling after it.
Why it matters
What you get
True platform-native feel
Built to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, so navigation, gestures and motion match what iOS users already expect without thinking about it.
Accessibility that actually works
VoiceOver tested on device, full Dynamic Type support through accessibility sizes, and contrast verified — not just an accessibility label audit.
Deep platform capability
Widgets, Live Activities, App Intents, Siri, App Clips, HealthKit and on-device Core ML where they add real product value.
Review-ready releases
Privacy manifests, subscription disclosure, account deletion and SDK declarations handled correctly, so submissions clear review first time.
Performance held to budgets
Cold start, scroll frame timing, memory and crash-free rate tracked as SLOs with alerting, not checked once before launch.
How we deliver
Our process for this work
Adapted to this service specifically — not a generic five-box diagram.
- 01
Product definition
1–2 weeksCore jobs, platform-specific opportunities, App Store positioning and a scoped v1 feature set with an explicit not-now list.
- 02
Interface & interaction design
2–4 weeksNative-pattern UI, motion specification, empty and error states, and an accessibility plan covering VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
- 03
Build
8–18 weeksTwo-week increments with TestFlight builds at the end of each, unit and UI tests in CI, and continuous device-lab testing across supported models.
- 04
Beta & submission
2–3 weeksStructured TestFlight cohorts, crash triage, App Store listing and metadata, screenshots, and review submission with the compliance checklist cleared.
- 05
Operate & iterate
OngoingStaged rollouts, crash-free rate monitoring, annual OS readiness ahead of each September release, and ongoing feature delivery.
